"August 19, 2019 I had gum tissue graft surgery with Dr. Piñero. It was a very pleasant experience. Very professional, knowledgeable and explains you clearly what you’ll feel during surgery and what to expect during recovery. I chose not to get oral sedation, and I honestly didn’t feel any pain or discomfort during surgery. At exactly 7 days after the surgery, there was zero discomfort in the treated areas. "I went to Dr. Pinero to get a crown lengthening done on a broken crown. Dr. Pinero and his staff are exceptional. they accommodated me at very short notice (I was lucky that there was a cancellation). After a quick checkup Dr. Pinero agreed to do the surgery right then. It took about an hour, but I barely felt the time pass. There was no pain to be felt (the anesthetic was very effectively done) and only some pressure. However, Dr. Pinero was checking on me often, and making sure that I had no discomfort. The post surgery recommendations are working great, and I feel well on my way to recovery. He is a very empathetic and effective doctor, and I am very glad he was able to do the surgery for me.."

"I would go back if I have to. Dr. Pinero and Dr. Santos had a very good rapport. They really conferred. One section had to be finished because I couldn't do anything right away. The stuff had to settle in before I got the next surgery and then Dr. Santos had to be fixing temporary mouth pieces and then my permanent teeth. It was important that they work hand in hand, and they did very well. Dr. Pinero was really terrific. In my surgeries, I had to keep my mouth open several hours and they have an excellent bedside manner as well."
